Manchester has a great Muay Thai history, maybe the best MT history in the UK. You should check Master Sken, Master A (Toddy's Brother), Oliver Harrison & Ronnie Green (Simingdam). They are all household MT names in Manchester and all have gyms, although with the Harrison's training Big name western styled Boxers I'm not sure if they teach MT any more. I'm a bit out of touch though with the scene up there as Ive pretty much been based in Bkk for the last decade. Some lads on here like maybe Lynchburg or Donnie know that part of the world better. But you should definetly try those names I mentioned they have serious pedigree in the UK. PM Donne he's from Manchester I think?:think
**** bag and **** video - waste of time and money. Kicking trees is for ****** video's. How many trees you see in the middle of a gym?
I sent you a private message boran. I only mention it here as I sometimes don't see the notification for days when someone sends one for me.
I've got it rev. I'll answer it tonight I'm out at the moment & I hate typing long stuff on the iPhone.
Tony Moore is up in Manchester. I've trained with him and Master A and out of them two i'd go with Master A but Tony is really good too. Lynchburg
Make a DIY bag dude... Buy a decent stiched bag and make a hollow down the middle but leave about 1/2ft of padding at the bottom. Fill the hole with bags of rice. Make sure you duct tape them first. That should add a good 10-20kg's to the bag depending on how heavy you want it. Remember to think about a good wall bracket though if you are adding weight and also I can stress enough how important it is to have good stiching at the bottom of the bag or the bottom may fall out if you put too much weight in. Happy kicking! Lynchburg
