Floyd's footwork will be the key factor in this fight IMO...as long as he controls the tempo of the fight than he can make it a boxing match and we know pac isn't "thinking" with floyd or winning a boxing match...he'll have to make him fight....Floyd's footwork is as good as they get and on another level YES, EVEN OVER MANNY PACQUIAO...

THE FIGHT WILL BE COMPETITIVE FOR THE FIRST FEW ROUNDS BUT I THINK FLOYD KNOCKS HIM AROUND THE 10TH....MANNY IS OPEN FOR COUNTERS..WETHER HIS FANS ADMIT IT OR NOT IS DIFFERENT...BUT HE IS OPEN FOR COUNTERS..

FLOYD KNOCKS HIM INSIDE OF 10..PROBABLY UP ON THE CARDS 5-4 AT THE TIME..

    Yo, what up NOOB???

Welcome to ESB. Sorry for sarcasm from some posters, but you have to understand that this has been a topic that has been debated (at times with extreme prejudice, malice and HATRED) for about 2 years now. And with two failed negotiations (although I don't believe Arum about the 2nd attempt of negotiating a fight) people / posters are pretty damn fed up with this topic...EXTREMELY FED-UP ACTUALLY.

But for the record....Pacquiao fans actually believe Manny will win by some spectacular KO:patsch. They believe that he's faster than Floyd with more power. And although this is true (and yes, as a Floyd fan, I have no problem with saying Pacquiao is Faster with more Power). However, I, as well as most Floyd fans see the OBVIOUS FLAWS in Pacquiao. How does a fighter with almost 60 Pro Fights and the "so-called" best Trainer in the sport, have so many technical flaws? Most Floyd fans see a WIDE UD. In fact, I have said this since DAY ONE!!! This will be Floyd's easiest fight. And people will be amazed at the size difference. Hell I was even blown away of how much bigger Floyd was than Mosley and Shane had 7 fights at Jr. Middleweight. Floyd will be taller, longer with a reach advantage and will have NO NEED to get close to Pacquiao. And he's too patient and too smart. Floyd will wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait...And Pacquiao will get impatient and frustrated and will try to force the action falling into a trap. It will be a nice "Chess Match" and a "Thinking Man's Fight"...SO WHO DOES THAT FAVOR???

But anyway, Welcome to ESB. I hope and pray you don't become a DOUCHEBAG and fill the forum with unnecessary threads that have no facts, no relevancy, no merit and most importantly...NO KNOWLEDGE OF WHAT THE **** YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT!!! WE HAVE ENOUGH OF THAT ALREADY!!!

While I prefer Pacquiao to Floyd as a person and a fighter, I too think Floyd's footwork, defence and sharp counters are the keys to victory.

I think PacMan has a slim chance of getting the KO in the first 4 rounds but it is very slim. Mayweather will use use his advantages to keep the fight at distance and Manny, who is relatively easy to hit, will eat a lot of shots.

    Mayweather via UD.

Pac will keep the pace of the fight higher than what Floyd is comfortable with and he will present Floyd with a variety of angles and power that make Floyd even more cautious than usual and also take alot more than his usual 3-4 rounds for him to adapt. Floyd will be behind on cards after 6 and just when he expects Pac to start slowing down so he can take advantage, Pac will start laying traps and surprise Floyd who would be expecting Pac to keep charging in and trying hard to change the momentum of the fight. Floyd will eat some counter and will also have some success here and there but he will realise that his cardio will be more tested in this fight than ever before and he will feel more tired than ever before and eventually lose on points.

Pac will not wear down physically and most importantly mentally and once Floyd realises that the fight will be won.

There is a reason why a chicken is ducking.

Forget about the pseudo-experts here because they are horrendous in their analysis anyway, like the Floydettes who would immediately go by Fraud by KO as the first option. That alone tells you that they have the mental capacity of an earthworm.

Pac will have to bring every trick in the book for Floyd to not figure out his style beyond the 4th round. If Floyd comes out jabbing, liked Cotto did against Manny before he stopped, he keeps Manny from showing this "versatility." In order for him to lay traps for Floyd down the stretch, something no one has ever done, will be interesting. Floyd is way too smart for Manny and Manny does not have the defense to keep Mayweather thinking. Floyd will hit him WHENEVER he wants to.

Ain't happening. Just give back "Sexy-faced" Gayweather's balls that you been slurping and hopefully he can have the courage to mention Pac's name.

Phobia therapy comes in stages. For Mayweather, the following steps has to be taken :

    1. Be able to say "Pacquiao"
    2. Be able to play Pacman.
    3. Be able to look at a picture of Pacquiao
    4. Be able to watch DVDs of Pac beat his common opponents to the pulp.
    5. Go back again to 1.

So it is not going to happen, ever.

a lot of people going for floyd in this thread.. some saying it's going to be the easiest fight in his career.

if chicken floyd actually takes the fight, then there's no doudt in my mind that he takes quite a bad beating (to the surprise of many ) and gets stopped around the 9th.
