Pacquiao by KO. Pacquiao is too fast with throwing from too many different angles. Pacquaio would easily overhand right that shoulder roll. As experienced as Floyd is, boxing from his baby crib, he's never seen anything like that. They need to do this for boxings sake. Floyd running is making boxing look very bad.. like a national sports joke.

    Mayweather, and easily.
Pac is a tremendous fighter, but makes loads of mistakes than he gets off with against fighters with less foot/hand/thought speed.
Mayweather would drop him a few times getting him walked onto shots coming in straight as he does, and stop him about 7 or 8 IMO.
Pac is exciting and the fans love him, Mayweather is a once in a lifetime fighter IMO.
He's the best of my lifetime.

The reason this fight wont happen IMO.....................I expect Margarito to beat Pac.
Margos huge at the weight, durable, can match Pac's workrate, and can hit hard.
Pac's the big fav, and rightly so, but I think this is a very live upset possibility.

Why would you call it a 50/50 fight but pick a winner?

mayweather by boxing clinic. I do see pac giving him trouble first 3 rounds before floyd figures him out.

I think floyd wins, may well be a long night for pac but it would be very exciting whatever happens, has to be made or hell to pay for one or both of them, floyd stop messing around with vacations and get it on

Floyd controls emmanuel with an educated jab just like Morales did. Cotto has a STRONGER jab than Floyd, but that doesn't mean he uses it as wisely. Watch how Floyd uses his jab to measure and set up his right hand. The jab halts and checks emmanuel to prevent him from successfully rushing in for the face, and Floyd counters. Floyd baits emmanuel with a lazy jab, emmanuel tries to counter with a straight left hand, and Floyd counters with his own right. Mayweather's jab is also used offensively. Floyd couldn't miss with his jab and kept snapping Mosley's head back with the jab.

Floyd has 3 inches of reach over emmanuel in arm length; Young Mayweather is able to hit emmanuel when emmanuel isn't able to hit him. Floyd properly measures the distance and counters emmanuel's jab with his hook.

The Mayweather Straight Right Hand finds its home on emmanuel's face the moment the opening bell rings. Being a southpaw leaves emmanuel even moar vulnerable to Floyd's best punch, and emmanuel does not know how to take away a right hand.

Pay attention to how Floyd throws the right hand to close distance and enter the pocket, so he can unload body shots. emmanuel is not good inside fighter. Floyd uses his left forearm to protect himself and restrict the amount of space his opponents need in order to be effective on the inside. He then takes his free right hand to use for uppercuts to the stomach. Young Mayweather is a master at tactically using the clinch, emmanuel is not.

asian people have fragile skin, emmanuel has been shown to cut in the past, and Floyd has opened up a cut surgically on an opponent with sensitive skin in the past, Ricky Hatton. See the proof here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=imWvM3XPleg#t=9m58s

All that punch missing from emmanuel and clever body work from Floyd depletes emmanuel's amazing stamina. emmanuel is sensitive to body shots as proven by his two knockout losses and fights against Marquez. All that amazing emmanuel work-rate means gets reduced when he's tired, being forced to think about his next move because of those Mayweather counters, and there are little angles to open with due to the Young Mayweather footwork.

Floyd studies emmanuel to figure out the details of that southpaw left hand. It's going to be a long night after Floyd knows how to counter and block it. Watch the Zab Judah fight for an example.

Young Mayweather knocks emmanuel out through an accumulation of flush shots. emmanuel is done the moment Floyd takes away his left hand. I don't see Floyd letting this one off the hook.

floyds tech skills and better footwork will take pacquiaos "angles away" and he'll need those to land the big shots.....floyd knocks him late..catches him coming in probably...

floyd is bigger and taller..just as fast and a much better counter puncher..the reach advantage will be in floyds favor by far as his arms are a lot longer and he knows how to fight "tall".....

floyd can fight on the inside as well..something pac is ok at..but its just not his game....versatility is key in this fight as well..

pac has power goin for him..but thats good when u got a fighter willing to trade...pac gotta make floyd fight...he not winning a boxing match..n he not good enough to impose his fight on floyd...thus why i think its a chess match in the end

Great post. People don't understand the difference between chess and checkers. Manny is most effective in exchanges . Floyd's footwork and counters are going to make Manny ineffective .

    This fight may never happen.
Especially if Margo knocks Pac out.
Do not be surprised if this happens.
Margo is a monster compared to Pac.
Margo will train like an animal for this one.
And Pac hasnt the best chin in the world.
A very bad pick for an opponent for Pac.

Floyd counters Pacquaio all fight long.
The Jab & the lead right hand = Pac has flashbacks of the JMM fight's.

IMO, This fight will be a very disappointing fight if you expect fireworks or a Pac win.

Funny how *******s dont respond to "technical" posts..most of em prolly dont even know what we talkin about....they just think cuz pac hits harder he gonna win or some ****...BOXING DONT WORK LIKE THAT UNLESS U GOT A STYLE LIKE RICKY OR CLOTTEY...**** EVEN CLOTTEY WAS LANDING WHEN HE WAS THROWING...

Completely disagree. Wide looping Mosley caught Floyd, DLH got a split. Pacquaio will be amped to throw 100 punches per rd with bad intent especially when he knows he can take the punches. This is at 147 where Pac takes a scorching left hook to the head busting his ear and laughs. Its going to be Castillo all over a gain for Floyd but better footwork, better angles and relentless southpaw pressure.

He has to KO PAc to be honest. Nothing is impossible but I cant see the judges giving this **** to Floyd whether hes the one who connects the more meaningful punches but gets outlanded 20 to 10.

This is the reason Floyds not fighting, sure he knows better than you whats is good/bad for him.

Wasn't Pac even faster and punching from many different angles when he fought Marquez the 2nd tim ? Marquez is slower, less defensive, and has a lower ring IQ than Mayweather and he arguably won 1 or both fights, depending on who you ask. FMJ & JMM have similar styles, except Marquez is more throws more combinations, something FMJ can do, if he decides to. So, how does Pac Ko a better, more defensive, smarter, stronger, faster fighter, with an even better chin?? How is he not too fast for Marquez, yet, he is too fast for FMJ?
