In these enjoyable fights, the tall Superheavyweights trained by the legendary Manny Steward had their "baptisms of fire" which made them reach their Peaks. When Wlad (244lbs) fought Peter (243lbs) in '05, it was his 6th fight with Steward training him, & when Lewis (247lbs) fought Mercer (238lbs) in '96, it was his 4th fight with Steward as his trainer. Those fights happened 11 years apart, but were very similar senarios in the final development phase of Wlad & Lewis. I think these two fights are ideal to use in my 'Opponent Swap' concept. Here are the bouts:

    '96 Lewis vs. '05 Wlad

    '96 Mercer vs. '05 Peter

    '05 Wlad vs. '96 Mercer

    '96 Lewis vs. '05 Peter

    My scorecard for Wlad-Peter I '05:

i think the mercer that gave lewis fits would have stopped wlad in his tracks. yet i feel lewis would always have been too much for such a limited but aggressive fighter as peter. peter vs mercer would have been a great brawl
