The problem with Wlad is that the fighters he lost to are not exactly the best he faced.

Byrd was the best of those 4 mentioned, and he couldn't do anything against him due to lack of size and power. Brewster was arguably the worst (loss to Etienne)... and he won.

To cut the long story short, I think Haye with his speed and power has serious chance for an upset (although I consider him an underdog of course).

This question can not be answered because we do not know how good David Haye is. We do not know how he will take a real HW punch or if his stamina has deteriorated even more with the extra weight. David Haye is nearly totally unproven and untested at HW - he beat an over the hill gate-keeper in Monte Barret and a decent journeyman in Bonin, both wins are irrelevant. Haye could have answered these questions by fighting a better opponent as a tune-up than Monte Barrett but he took the easy way and it worked for him - he got his shot at the belts nevertheless. As for his CW pedigree, well we know Haye can bang and he's fast for some rounds, plus he definitely was the unified (not undisputed) champ at CW, but his best win there was a faded Mormeck. And don't start with Fragomeni and Maccarinelli, those are not top fighters. So Haye is kind of the dark horse in the HW division right now - Wlad Klitschko will be at least one level above all the other competition he's faced until now (and who he struggled with more than once), but that said Haye could surprise us all and put on a good fight, yes, even beat Wlad. But it is my guess that it is more likely to see Haye fail on june 20th.

Maybe Peter at that particular time and maybe Ibragimov, but most probably no one.

Tony Thompson is also an underated HW who may end up having a better fight against Wlad than Haye.

To tell the truth, I don't know what to expect from Haye in this fight, he may show up the same he has been in his last fights and lose, but if he manages to take his level a step further than it currently is, than we will have a toss up fight and the best opponent Wlas has faced in his career.

Haye has done nothing in HW yet, so before he beat someone good he is nothing but hype imo! i still believe Wlad will be to big and to strong for Haye to handle, expect Haye to come running out in the first round like a human windmill, with a lucky punch he can hurt Wlad early.. but the big guy is to careful to let that happend, so when Haye runs out of gas, he will get jabbed half to death.. and one single hard punch from Wlad, the hypemaker will wake up 5 min. later!:yep

I think it has more to do with peoples dislike of Klitschko than Haye.

If you notice the same people on here latch onto whoever is fighting Wlad or Vitali next and say how they are going to lose etc.

Evander Holyfield was not hyped this much when he went to heavyweight and he had a handfull of fights before he got a title shot.

I think Haye would beat Byrd now but not when he was at his best,Bryd may have even stopped Haye, the other three KO Haye without too much problem.

2006 Chris Byrd was teetering somewhere on the brink between "in decline" and "shot".

I wouldn't make Haye anything more than the slightest of underdogs against '06 Byrd. And this would have more to do with respect for Byrd's resume than what he was doing in the ring at the time.

Haye might have some chance against Purrity.

But not against Brewster nor Sanders.

Brewster that fought wlad would beat hayes, just cause he can take a punch, but i see it by a REAL knockout, an not because of drugs

byrd an hayes would be a great fight to watch, , but i see the later rounds just being owned by byrd

Sultan, well wlad can make a guy look like C fighter when there an A fighter, so this one is tough to call

Peter,,,,,before wlad beat the fighter out of him,,,Peter KTFO of Hayes, if barret can drop him, peters will take his head off.

An a word of note: Hayes would of lost to the Barrett that Wlad fought, i believe.

Hayes is a hype job at heavy, but as a wlad fan i do not care, i gong to enjoy the beatdown, an you can bet hayes will never be the same fighter he was before this fight.
