had mine broken with a headbutt as a teenager (16 ys ago now lol) , trust me its a scary ass feeling when your moving your eye and you can feel the rough sensation of bone against your eyeball. its utterly horrific. that said, im not sure why there seems to be more of a trent of them breaking in the ring nowadays.
I think it's a British thing to try to not look like a sooky quitter. Hide behind a little bruise on your eye lol. Well it doesn't work Billy Joe "I would never quit, I'd rather die in the ring" Nek minnit
yea but it was his trainer who pulled him out and rightly so. imagine the wave of hate if he had let him go out there and he lost his eye or suffered bone fragments to the brain. tibbs made the right call.
I cant see = code word for pull me out I'm a sooky quitter. He could have told the trainer he is good but he didn't won't that smoke
OK, but he also could have gone into the middle of the ring at the start of the 9th with his hand over his right eye and take the first punch that landed anywhere and just fall down. I hate billy joe, and can't stand his gang of idiots including fury but it is what it is, the man's trainer waved it off.
Canelo didn't even land another punch on the eye and Billy called DDD a quitter lol. DDD was getting pounded in his eye
I had my orbital fractured kickboxing and needed surgery Your injury sounds more horrific than mine. I mostly had double vision and found it difficult moving my left eye to proper angles. I done loads of exercises post surgery and had check ups. It improved a lot, but not 100%. I would still get double vision if I tried to move eye in extreme angles
Well, he may have wanted his corner team to take the swelling. He probably wanted to fight on not knowing the damage that his team could see
