im rooting for lara. I don't like trout as a fighter. he isn't in possession of a second gear. he doesn't have that higher level of ferocity that lara possesses, because if he did, he would have stopped cotto or come much closer, and given canelo a much better fight. look at his fight against delvin rodriguez to see hit utter lack of ferociousness, when needed, in the ring.

Really surprised that Trout is the favorite. A lot of value on Lara here. Trout sure as hell doesn't have a glass jaw or anything like, but Lara is just a better boxer and should get the better of exchanges. The only thing I see in favor of Trout is that he has the backing in his corner.

Trout might be more active and if he doesn't force the action, we will be in for a snoozer. You need to be an aggressive guy [Williams, Angulo] to make Lara look good (I should say make the fight look good too). I don't know if we can classify Trout as that. He is basically a boxer who looks to pick his spots. In that respect I think he is comparable to Vanes Martiroysan. I still believe he will throw more punches than Lara.

I favor Lara because I think he can hurt Trout and he is more defensively gifted. However, Trout might win just because he throws more punches. If Lara had a decent punch output I think he would be the overwhelming favorite.

angulo fights in slow motion and was landing on lara all night , lara has no answer for left hooks and trout is a lefty that knows how to work the body...
lara is too inactive to beat trout... and i know canelo was inactive too but he was hitting with mean accurate punches and not pitty jabs like lara does...

I will give credit where credit is due  I thought Trout would win easily but Lara impressed me, very good performance. :deal

The only criticism is he should have finished Trout off cos' he was GONE!! after that knockdown. :bbb
