A fight between him and Lora would have been an epic technical encounter.Or Perez before his lack of dedication derailed him.

canizales was a scary fighter technically.Awesome footwork and punch placement.

Yeah, and he could work up punces from all sorts of horrible angles without getting dramatic about it.

Nice to see him with his own Porn-reel.

Orlando Canizalez was tremendous.....awsome, fluid and beautiful combination puncher........

His devestation of Olympic Gold medalist Paul Gonzalez was just tremendous.

To bad the better little men in those days rarely fought eachother......they made just as much fighting mandatories than fighitng other champions in and around there weight division.....because of it, these little great men never had any real incentive to make the truly big matchups within their divisions.

IMO Canizales should've been a two-division champion. I thought he was robbed against Vasquez.

I was always a fan of Canizales and enjoyed watching him. I caught all of his televised defenses.

One of the best of all the Bantamweight champions IMO. In answer to Gpater: no, he wasn't much like Lopez other than the fact that he had tremendous technical skills. Lopez was far more stiff and rigged, while Canizales was one of the most fluid, skilled angle fighters of all time.

I'd say he's a H2H match for Zarate and Jofre, and would smash Rafael Marquez to bits.

These K.O's are all good, but his overall game was fantastic all-round, only needed a slight move to slip and punch and punish his opponent, and when he was hit he took a shot very well.

A very underappreciated fighter in my opinion, glad to see others are fans :good

    Haha "Happy" Lora.
That was a very good short fight too.

I became a fan of Orlando after seeing him fight Bones Adams, after watching it last year.
There was a pre fight feature on Adams, os i thought the fight was there for him to win only to see Orlando take it.
    A good fighter
