I must have been living under a rock but I missed this! Like I've said since Del Valle's loss, I'm not giving up on the kid. I think he is a really good fighter, and just didn't know how to deal with the unorthodox of Darchinyan.

I didn't know that this happened with him hooking up with The Nacho Man

Orlandito is leaving for mexico to train with HOF Nacho Beristain.

“Personally I feel like a little kid ready to go to his first day of school. It’s an honor for me just knowing that I will be part of a legendary stable and I am aiming to start writing my little piece of history at the Romanza Gym with nacho and my team Del Valle which include all my fans. I am nothing without them”

Del Valle was hyped to me by a friend but he came up very, very short against Vic. He was in way over his head and it showed.

Hopefully he bounces back. Nacho is a great trainer for any young fighter to learn from.

You gotta see what he brings to the table outside of the Darchinyan fight. He is a very solid fighter and does a lot of things really really well. Look at earlier fights, the kid is a little grinder in there. The southpaw stance and the unorthodox style of Vic did him in, much to inexperienced against a HOF veteran like Vic. Kid had 16 fights vs an absolute hall of famer. Can't dismiss the kido yet!

    War!

Nacho has as good a claim to being the best trainer in the world as anyone. You should see his ****ing shoulder. Great for ODV anyway.

I don't think it has to do with the school I think it has to do with the style of the fighter matching up with the style of the trainer. Del Valle is a guy that can throw powerful punches with both hands, has decent reflexes and what he needs to work on is grounding himself to work on timing combinations and better his footwork. Nacho, out of all the trainers in boxing today, has the best fit for this kid. To refine what this kid has, could really help. I've been telling everyone this kid is the goods, he just was rushed.
