Alright Fella's Hope this ain't stealing anyone's threads? Orlando Canizales 50-5-1 (37 ko's) IBF Batamweight Champion 88-94 This content is protected Orlando was one of the best Bantam's during late eighties early nineties. He reigned as IBF Champion from 88-94 and lost close fights up at SBW to Wilfredo Vazquez and Junior Jones at Featherweight. He was a good puncher with 37 stoppages in his fifty wins. Here's some of his work... [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Upua67GMPSY[/ame] He was relentless and put shots together well from head to body which is something i particularly love. Anyways how do you seem in matching up against (12 round contest): Donaire: Agbeko: Mares: Perez: Darchinyian: Thought this will be a decent topic for the late night posters :good.
Just a note: He goes the full 12 with all of them. I'm not really in position to break down these fights, I've only seen 12 rounds of Canizales. Edit: In regards to my first point, that's unless Canizales knocks them out first (I meant none have the capacity to stop him)
In fact, I'm fairly confident he would beat Mares and Perez, probably Darchinyan too. Canizales had trouble with cutting off the ring, movers gave him issue, so I don't think the 3 'non movers' of the bunch, the come forward fighters, would be able to stay away from his aggresive onslaught. Mares and Perez would both get a beatdown IMO, outworker on the inside and hit with the cleaner, harder blows, might just drop at the finish from body punches aswell. Darchinyan moves better than those 2 and is more awkward, but he could be rattled fairly easily and I think Orlando had it in him to stop Darchinyan, though it may prove difficult.

Canizales was a beast, aggressive, compact, accurate and picked his punches well. Aside from Doniare, who is looking like a H2H problem generally in these type of match ups, I'd pick him against any of the others.

I'm gonna try watch some JJ as well :good. I always harp back to that Richard Evatt fight. The guy was awful that night but he pulled it out the bag! Also remember as a kid on how he beat MAB ''Throw straight punches''. Made it sound so easy.
