If Rose boxed to the level that he did against Harada, this could be a very interesting fight. Still, I think Canizales' power would prevail in the end.
Orlando was quite a calculated fighter, one of my favourite combination punchers, patient and picked his shots. Lionel however had quite an arsenal of his own and workrate to boot, Lionel would land enough to squeeze this i think. Great matchup.
Canizales is to me a an underrated great..and Rose is a quality guy as well. It would have gone 15 IMO, with Canizales finally prevailing in the final rounds of a pretty much tactical fight. I think Canizales's power would be a factor, and he would cut the ring down on Rose.
I think Canizales is being overrated a bit. He was a tremendous technician but never went against anywhere near the competition Rose did. I'll take Rose by late stoppage or decision.
