Would have loved to have seen this fight between 2 supremely skilled boxer-punchers. Canizales at his best was a boxing wizard and a monster. Lovely footwork and combinations. One of the smoothest operators at the lower weights.

Just to give the General forum an idea about Orlando Canizales’ abilities. He’s one of the most aesthetically pleasing fighters and a beautiful technician. Pretty much the prototype version of Lomachenko. A fight between him and Inoue would no doubt be a brilliant yet bloody fight.

Tough fight. I see Inoue by body shot but not after getting out slicked at times.

Canizales was also a pretty mean body puncher himself. Probably not as prolific as Inoue but can be devastating at times.
@13:35 , the body shot sounds like a shotgun blast.

No bantamweight in history can beat Inoue.
Just like no middleweight could beat Golovkin between 2013-2016.

One is orthodox and the other is a southpaw. One guy is doing all the fancy footwork, movement, and punching.

Judging by styles Inoue can't roar in throwing hooks against a guy like Canizales or he'll get countered to death. Canizales was not a light puncher , 37 ko's in 50 wins. Inoue has the terribly cliched punchers chance , but Canizales is professional fighter of the highest level, boxing skills, footwork, defense and work rate. He had it all, as of today prime vs prime I'd take Canizales by UD in a great fight.
