    Who wins?

I'm thinking Canizales. Donaire has the edge in power and handspeed, but Canizales was the better technician and I reckon could outbox Nonito.

Lean towards Canizales here. Decision bout all the way and the only way this bout is stopped would be cuts. But neither was a bleeder so it sure looks like it goes to the cards. Close bout but Orlando by 2 or 3 points. Nice technical fight to enjoy and lots of subtle skills to pay attention to.

    Orlando. UD.

He had the unfortunate habit of fighting to his opponents abilities, but he would be well prepared for the always dangerous Donaire.

Nonito is too big and too smart. Canizales either gets outboxed from the outside or he tries to get inside and gets stretched by a counter left hook

Canizales already had a lot of trouble with tall long fighters like Junior Jones and Paul Gonzalez. Donaire would be a nightmare

I would pick Donaire as well, either close decision or stopping him late. I could see either but have a hard time picking Orlando in this one.

Can't see a close decision to be honest. Canizales wouldn't be able to sustain momentum

I would lean Canizales. He was so freaking good for a long stretch in the late-80's to mid-90's. Consistency is a great component to these. Plus, he had a beard on him.

Might actually lean towards Donaire to win this by decision in a hard fought fight. Especially if we’re talking about the Donaire that knocked out Montiel. Donaire from 2008 - 2012 was an absolute beast and I think his speed, power, and fearsome left hook could have gotten the better of Canizales. But it would have been a great match up.
