Canizales and clearly. Sure Donaire is bigger and hits hard, but Canizales' style and skill offers a challenge which Donaire never overcame against a genuine elite. He failed to create his own openings and/or pin an opponent down. Canizales exploits that and moves in and out, flurrying and parrying. Donaire looks for counters, but is perplexed when he can't find them. Canizales rinses and repeats on route to a clean cut decision.
Canizales used excessive foot movement and Donaire was a better counter puncher, Billy Hardy wouldn`t have lasted long with Donaire but landed very often on Canizales, a very over-rated boxer, Donaire by stoppage.
