Gomez beats Canizales..maybe not by ko, but at 122 Gomez was peerless..and only started his "decline" after the Zarate ko..when he became almost totally reliant on his power, and neglected his great boxing skills somewhat.
I'm pretty sure that Addie has glanced at the title of this thread, and mistakenly thought that it said: Orlando Canizales vs Wilfredo Vasquez As that fight did of course happen, and Addie is well aware that Canizales and Gomez were not around at the same time.
