Even though Cruz lost his undefeated record on his last fight, he is still one of my favorite prospects. I think it's a good match up! The fight will be February 20 in Ciudad de Mexico.
Cruz, I think I saw him on the Mayweather/Marquez undercard against Lock. He got wooped pretty good, but not as bad as De Leon did against JuanMa. Cruz has time and is young enough to improve and sharpen up his skills. De Leon is too wild and raw, all he has is power. This Cruz vs De Leon sounds to be a good match up. If Cruz can keep a good jab going and box intelligently without getting into a brawl against Daniel, he should take it.
