Now that he's retired, I think we should all show him some appreciation.

Salido is the man that made contenders into champion's. Orlando Salido was the ultimate litmus test for any fighter calling himself good.
He was the ultimate warrior and Vasyl Lomachenko will always be his son.
Mikey Garcia would also be his son if he didn't slam his nose into Salidos head.
All hail Siri , a man's man!!!!!!

Orlando Salido is the definition of a blood and guts warrior. Nothing but respect for him. Wish him a long prosperous life with his loved ones.

One of the last of his kind. Incredible he had the longevity that he had, considering how he fought. Remarkable career turn around after a rocky start, like many fighters that come up the hard way in Mexico.

I really do wish him health and happiness in retirement. He's already given enough of himself for multiple boxing careers, no reason to ever come back to it.

What a freaking child naysayer is... Runs to start a thread for a fighters he doesn't even give a damn about, but since he beat a Ukranian, MUST make thread.

Very good fighter. Plenty skilled, with tremendous fortitudinal worth. Kept going to the well and finding enough to compete even while a ways past his best. He'll be missed.

 Certain members could take the opportunity to praise a great servant to the sport (it's not as if Siri's career hasn't merited the thread), but they'd rather focus on the motives of the TS.

And, for the record, JLC appreciation threads would not be a new thing. https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/everyone-show-appreciation-to-one-of-my-favs-jose-luis-castillo-farewell.81341/

I wholly agree with your assessment of Salido, up until you claim he “sonned” Loma and would’ve done the same to Mikey. Prior to the intentional foul, Garcia literally mopped the ring with Salido. In fact Willie Maeket, I thought Salido might have to change his name to Dusty Shorts or Kenny Last.
