His career DVD set is hall of fame worthy for sure. As for him I think he could go either way but I think all the great fights and the Loma win should get him in.

Fact of the matter is Paulie beat Johnny tapia who is arguably the best Jr bantamweight of all time 2x, he also beat highly regarded super bantamweight bones Adams 2x which are better wins than anything Salido has on his resume right now. But your knowledge of the sport is so thin, I wouldn't expect you to know these things.

Salido cheated against loma, this is common knowledge to everybody. All the headbutted and all the low blows and still not one complaint from Loma and was still on the verge of stopping Salido late. He lost all his biggest fights, but at the end of the day he should never pass up a fighter like Paulie in the candidacy of the HOF, simply because he was the better fighter and played by the rules..

But the Salido's win is tainted.. it was a very close fight , I had Loma winning & he nearly stopped him in the last round. Headbutts, low blows, coming in way over weight. I don't see it as a fair legitimate victory.
