I liked Orlando before that fight and had been a fan for a fair while. Cheating a 2 fight novice on the scales and then flouting the rules in the fight was an absolute disgrace.

After that I felt F that guy.

Obviously I like EE guys and was a fan of Loma from the WSB and Olympics, but I kind of thought Salido was getting really disrespected even by the idea of putting Loma in there with him that early it was arrogant and dismissive on both Loma and Arum's part, so while I usually am annoyed by that type of behavior from a fighter I think they deserved it for their arrogance.

Cheating is cheating mate. If Loma's confidence was so disrespectful then Orlando should have shown that in the ring fair and square rather than making himself out to be a pathetic cheat. Fact is he couldn't legitimately beat Loma.

Didn't his cristobal Cruz fight break compubox numbers

After being dominated by JMM who thought he still would be around

Maybe the worst first ten fight records of any success story outside weaver or nelson

In all honesty Salido is everything that's right in boxing

    Fought everyone out there

    Fought tough

    Not some pampered network diva

He fought his way out of obscurity

Salido is a favorite of mine, a true beast. I wanted him to retire a few fights ago, as I think hes well past his expiration date, but hell he just gave the fans yet another war to remember.

Not really, no. Many fighters say that they draw strength from being the underdog, from being under-estimated. Others like it, as it takes the focus and pressure off them and puts it on their opponent.

    Very true sir
He has the will and heart but still lacks the basics that most professional boxers learn in the amatures :nut

Like CS pointed out he is a hell of a dirty slugger and knows every trick in the game:hey
