The idea came from this now-deleted thread by Willie Maeket: http://www.boxingforum24.com/thread...ight-time-for-ggg-to-take-the-l-train.576870/ Of all the wars you could make in the FW range, this would be about the most blood-and-guts bit of matchmaking you could put together. I also happen to believe it would be a one-sided utter shellacking by Siri, but I'm hesitant on the outcome. Does the consummate living embodiment of all the good, the bad, and the ugly about Mexican boxing grind the "Russian Mexican" (the first actual Russian he would ever have fought, incidentally ) down for a stoppage or take it on points? Anybody reckon the younger man has a chance?
Bear in mind that Grado is a workhorse if nothing else, and Salido is prone to off nights here and there, his value h2h plummeting at times from world class all the way down to outright mediocre. (remember him randomly getting spanked for stretches by Weng Haya?)
Grado's activity might be a problem for Salido at this stage. IF Orlando can slow down the pace & make it a punch for punch slugfest type match then Salido all day. Prime MexRussian tho just has enough pop to keep Orlando honest... But Grado hasn't looked the same in recent fights either so...
