True. garcia's long jab and boxing skill would outpoint Salido.

We got to give Lopez the credit he deserves as a warrior, at least he didn't quit on the stool in his corner like so many others would of done. Heart of a lion him and Salido have.

Because I dont think Salido has any ***** in him. we know Concepcion comes forward all the time but he chose not to as soon as he felt Mikeys power.

Salido is too Mexican to not come forward nonstop.

Imagine if this fight was on HBO? Salido wouldnt even have been talked about not and no credit would be given to him. Lederman would have the fight a shutout for JuanMa

 Yeah I loved that bit, too. And as soon as they finished touching gloves, they went back to punching the **** out of each other like it was nothing.

    Correct. :nod

Showtime is refreshingly objective in their ability to stray from cheerleading for the guy who's "supposed" to win.

And the Mexico-Puerto Rico saga ends where PR fighters has no more fighters standing. (cotto's gonna be stepping out of the podium soon)

...and in case anyone needs reminding, JuanMa was the BETTING FAVORITE in the rematch with Salido. (for no damn good reason, other than leftover hype...)

Salido looked like a mini Trinidad in this fight, stalking Lopez at a non stop pace like a predator does to a prey in the jungle.

Will PM you a link if you want.

You missed an all-out slugfest which you "lovers of sweet science" would actually not miss. No running, controlling the distance, nothing whatsoever except gorefest, punchfest, a lot of near headbutts, elbows. Or simply stated, boxing.

This was a fight fought in a classic sense of how fights should be happen.
