Juanma said he felt he was dominating the Salido and stated that the referee stopped the fight early due to a gambling problem insinuating that the ref had a vested interest in Juanma losing the fight.

during round 9, i knew Lopez is in trouble, when they were exchanging bombs, salido was taking all Lopez bombs but everytime salido connects Lopez staggers...

I think what got me over the hump was putting big money on Delvin Rodrgiuez and the under of Cotto/Margo on the same day

 

If the ref wanted Juanma to lose. All the had to say is, "fight" and Salido would have put him to sleep. Juanma was out on his feet.

 

Damn, we've got some dumb people on these sites. I gave lopez two rounds and was probably being generous. Salido kicked his ass pushing him against the ropes, fighting with his back on the ropes. About the only clean punch JML landed was the KD punch otherwise it was Salido leading, counterpunching JML all night long. JML was a kamikaze fighter the last few rounds, just wanted to get it over with one way or the other. Salido was more skilled and better. If the ref hadn't stopped it there may of been a fatility, no doubt.

 

Salido walks into Puerto Rican territory once again, and waves the Mexican flag in victory!

I'm a little late to the party, but this was a hell of a fight! One of those late rounds (9 I think) was a candidate for round of the year, and this is def a solid FOTY candidate. Rematch in Mexico??!?! Even though I felt Salido pretty much dominated, I'd watch it.
