Just heard of this guy for the very first time from salsanchezfan in another thread. As he put it... "Orlando Zulueta (never seen him fight, but apparently his fists were like stilettos; he apparently cut so many guys it was ridiculous)." That alone makes me interested in him. Skimming over his record, I'm even more interested. 67 (7) - 45 - 14. Only stopped once in the final round of a fight, a TKO. And like a hundred other fighters, his life ended tragically. Anyone know anything about him?
You already know more than I do about him. Just looked at his record on Boxrec. One hell of a lot of great names there. Looks like he fought damn near everybody, even beat a few of 'em.
Thanks for bringing him to my attention, anyway. Kind of suprising to see that Saddler fought him, and only got a SD off the guy... Hmm.

Unfortunately this is the only concrete thing I can find at the moment, alongside the new footage. Orlando Zulueta was stabbed to death outside of the "Fabulous Greek Bar" in San Francisco. Two members of the Hell's Angels biker gang were arrested for his murder. The Hell's Angels had crashed a birthday party shortly after midnight. I once read that Zulueta had such a propensity for cutting his opponents that once he cut another fighter and the referee actually took him aside and gently ran his hand across Zulueta's gloves because he was sure he had to have a razor imbedded in them.
