Ortiz' 1 headbutt worse than Ward's 50,000?

It's funny how people will not stop ragging on Ortiz for one headbutt yet Ward is considered great yet can't fight a single fight without using his head at least once every round!!

Bit of a double standard really...

One headbutt? You need to watch the fight again. I counted like 5 intentional headbutts when I reviewed the fight.

Ortiz was the most dirtiest and intetional one I've seen in a while. He jumped and left his damn feet to launch into Floyd's mouth and Floyd had to get stitches afterward

he can't watch it again because he hasn't seen it once yet.

Still less than Ward's output with his chrome dome.

Both are dirty. Only Victor did it so blatantly intentional no one could keep a straight face and say it was incidental.

With Ward a lot of his fans keep insisting it's just because of his style and they are all unintentional, hard to keep that up after so many but they keep telling it until they believe it themselves.

Both are equally dirty, but Ward is smart enough to do it in his hometown, with his referee so he can get away with it (and the elbows, and the holding and hitting, and the pushing against the ropes) while Ortiz does it in the biggest fight of his career with Floyds referee :yep

Spot on. Ward knows to choce his battlefield. He is the dark genious of fouling and getting away with it.

Ward's aren't intentional. They're careless and they need to be cut out, but he at least isn't purposefully doing them.

Truth is that most guys who defend hopkins, ward, bradley, holyfield are the ones ripping Ortiz.

cause its not right to hate on something when it fits your agenda and call it smart when its with another guy.
Mares lowblowing agkebo is just as wrong as duran doing it to buchanan, I like duran while mares, not so much. But to say what duran did was smart and good while mares is a disgrace because of that is wrong imo.

Ward is black, therefore his headbutts are skillful and the techniques of a savvy veteran, wise beyond his years.
