Bigger, Stronger, Younger and much better stamina. He has the hunger and gravity on his side. he is about 5'11 when on his toes. He will be ripping shots much better than anyone Floyd faced at Welter. Southpaw a plus. Let's just how good Floyd is at Welter. I can't see this being an easy fight for PBF. Winner gets much respect no excuses.
I agree, and he also isnt a faded mosley who had possibly been over trained for his fight with Floyd but check it out.... Ortiz 5'11, 11-5 = 6:think
mosley dropped a couple of his nuclear on floyd and survived, i wonder how can ortiz better that one?
over Jmm yes. over Hatton I dunno. one win over berto doesnt prove much. id put a win over collazo right up there and hatton did that.
This is EASY work for Floyd. I'm trying to tell people this. Don't believe the hype. Floyd stops Ortiz in the 10th round.
Mosley was done after he dropped the nuclear u speak off. I do not think he had full power. No hate, Shane truly looked gassed at the opening bell. Those 3 soft opponents at 147 is the reason Victor will be even tougher for the inactive Floyd. They served as a reverse doughnut weight in baseball. Instead of making it easy to beat Ortiz, the pace will seem 2x as rough as it is to Floyd.
Floyd only survived that becuase Mosley suddenly couldnt pull the trigger, he gassed out, his punch output has gone to **** from that fight on, more evedence of that is his fight with Mora and his fight with Pac following that fight. Ortiz isnt old, he has a high work rate and a different style than Mosley and is 15 years younger than shane Sure you do:roll: Collazo beat Hatton kid I dont know what fight you saw but most beleive Hatton got a gift there
He's definitely a better welterweight than Marquez (miles behind P4P obviously) and very likely a better welterweight than Hatton, but he's still far from being able to beat Mayweather. His skill level and stamina aren't good enough, his defense is too leaky, chin is too shaky, and his offense isn't varied or precise enough over long distances to really bother Mayweather much. And also, Hatton possessed the footspeed that troubled Mayweather over the first half - footspeed Ortiz doesn't have.
