considering JMM's natural weight is NOT 147....i'm willing to bet many 147ers would beat marquez.....

I'm a ******* and I agree a million percent. Thats why I see this fight not as lopsided as most see it. Victor will still lose cause Floyd is just in a different level way above him but not in a 12-0 or 11-1 or 10-2. Victor will make it a fight and if he'll lose in a 7-5 manner it'll only bolster his stock more than winning against the likes of Bradley or any other Euro champ at 147.

Why is Vic training with Grant gloves? if Floyd demanded them it speaks volumes

Ortiz would of ended Hatton early. Brutally.

Notice Victor said he is a tree. It
is the only object that could equal 6.
Out of millions of things to be from a lawn mower to a hammer he choose a tree.
He was saying "Yes I made this deal with the devil on 4-16-11"
    I am 6. The tree is 6.

Great physical challenge (obviously the mental edge and experience goes to Floyd). The best he has had since Hatton, I think. Ortiz will push him, but, Ortiz will lose, clearly, IMO. Should be a good fight, and we may see dimensions of Floyd we haven't seen since...well...Hatton.

What dimensions ? Same trainer just older rustier Floyd.
Nobody seen him fight in over a year or seen more than a few rounds or less of sparring ? Doesn't it sound irrational to believe he is better when older and while facing his toughest opp at WW?
Tomorrow after the fight it will make sense.

I think 1 mil would be a decent ppv for this fight. With the economy the way it is and then you wanna RAISE the prices? C'mon now. I do expect Floyds underrated power to take effect, but Victors youth will give Floyd some scary moments. Flash knockdown for Victor dropping Floyd wont surprise me, but I expect a full recovery by Floyd. If Ortiz is able to walk thru punches and apply his pressure, he may for Floyd to fight and we might actually see one. Aggression is the key for Victor. Needs to take Floyds legs away first. I have a feeling it will be a good one. Surprised no has nentioned a clash of heads coming into play.

Dimensions? - Throwing more combinations, for example. Sitting down on his punches more, another example. Making it a physical fight...and so on. Versus what he is normally characterized as doing, potshotting and moving ('running' as described by his haters).

Irrational? - I did not say he would be BETTER. Where did I say that? Floyd obviously has many tools he can use...evident from his various fights. The style and approach of his opponent, will dictate whether he is more aggressive, fights more off the back foot, pot shots, in-fights, doubles up his punches, etc.

I've been saying this for awhile now, for those that simply write off Ortiz's competitiveness in comparison to Floyd's recent opposition.

Most dont believe Hatton lost to Collazo,it was a hard fought well deserved win for Hatton imo.As with any close fight, one can make an arguement in either direction.
