Anyone not named "Manny Pacquiao" who operates between 140-147lbs has nothing to offer Floyd Mayweather Jr. This is assuming the lay off hasn't hurt his skills, of course.

Let people assume he will just cruise to a UD off 16 months. He was hurt in his last fight to a 2 round fighter who was 38 huffing and puffing at the bell.
The signs were there of a decline vs Shane. Not only are they being ignored he is given credit for being better Tomorrow than he was in 2010.
No logic in that and it may be the tell tale sign of a bubble.

And yet Mosley didn't even come close to winning a round after the opener. On the whole, you would have to say it was a good performance from Floyd. A lot of people were split going into that fight, let's not forget.

In any event, a 60% Floyd Mayweather Jr beats the best Ortiz we've ever seen, which is by all accounts against Andre Berto. He was clipped and knocked down multiple times in that fight, against a scared, tired, and limited fighter. Just sayin'.

So Berto was scared and tired coming to the fight ? Or was it Ortiz's pace and power that got the job done ? Call Berto limited all day I knew he would lose to Ortiz but he got to where he is on conditioning and athleticism. Berto is one of the more athletic in the sport yet Victor matched that and beat him at his own game.

Would Hatton and JMM struggle against Peterson?

Talking at 147lbs. JMM of 2009 and Hatton of 2007 would get KO'd by Ortiz of 2011.

Collazo couldnt knock out Hatton and I would say he is much better than Ortiz.

Ortiz is just a bigger Gatti, slow of foot and easy to hit.

Dont buy into the Berto bull**** , he wasnt a champion, just all hype.

Ortiz gets out thought and outworked much quicker than either Hatton or JMM ever would.

It isn't a conclusively proven fact, but it's a probable fact, yes. Pity Ortiz is made for PBF, but it's still better than JMM/Pac.
