Aggressive southpaw? Possibly. Golden boy would let him cash out against Floyd.

This is the PERFECT tuneup for Floyd. If Floyd has any interest in coming back, this is THE fight to take.

Ortiz just came off an "exciting" win that people will remember. It helps build a fanbase. He also has an underdog story that attracts suckers like moths to a flame.

plus its no push over for floyd.
ortiz can bang with both hands. can apply a lot of pressure i mean the guy is no manny but still a great tune up

The 24/7 writes itself practically. Floyd will talk mad **** about victor quitting against maidana even though he pretty much vindicated himself tonight

no sorry. pac and floyd would kill him. what's with hyping fighters these days off of one win? i'd rather see him rematch maidana

exactly, Ortiz tries extra hard to be likeable ever since the Maidana incident and he has "hero" story. This fight has all the makings of a bad/good story.

im just sayin from a house hold stan point.
a lot of people were watching ortiz, hbo was on his side. floyd would whoop him. but he can bounce back with a miadana fight. quick pay day and it wont be devastating as a manny los.

i know. my opinion before the fight was floyd would prefer ortiz to beat berto as he is a southpaw and that fight would be easier to make with the GBP connection and potentially more lucrative to pass off as a PPV than say a spadafora. if he needs to have a tuneup, it's the logical choice now. if he doesn't fight pac after its a joke

let's see Ortiz put a few good wins together first. I know I said Berto would beat Ortiz, but Manny is a whole other kind of beat. Manny in six. Before tonight I would have said MAnny in 2.

nah,he did well tonight, but vs berto, guy who got beat by collazo and robbed him,a guy who fought bums.

ortiz proved himself a bit tonight, and im happy for him,but vs a real fighter like pac,hes not winning.
