In the UK some have ... maybe "casuals" was a bit overstated.

Intriguing fight in whether Ortiz can stop Allen. If he can't, ain't gonna look good for Eddie Hearn when he comes to promoting the 55year old cuban. None of the casuals will want to see him fight Joshua, they probably think Price is a more worthy opponent.

In the UK fans are less familiar with Allen than Ortiz.

The casuals to me are the ones who think Ortiz is some sort of wrecking machine because he beat up a couple of domestic level Americans who are best known for losing to Klitschko when there are at least half of dozen other Heavyweights who would've knocked both out with no trouble either, and has a reputation for being 'avoided' because that's the line promoters sell to you (nothing to do with his promotional issues, his failed drug tests and holding onto a paper interim title for most of the time he's been relevant which means he can't fight in eliminators for the WBO, WBC or IBF).

This fight could set up an amazing triology.

Some people here had never heard of Ortiz until he fought Scott.

Complete joke from hearn and his matchroom team. Ortiz will smash his skull with one punch. Allen couldn't beat a fat dillian whyte with only 1 arm.

Don't think this will end well for Allen.

Unfortunately, that's the only decent thing Allen has as a boxer. Ortiz uppercuts him till the KO.

Facebook posts indicate otherwise - there are a number of posts which have come up and UK based posters have been calling it an Allen win by KO, citing Ortiz' performance versus Scott.

That obviously assumes that Allen is levels above Malik Scott... which is hilarious.

That would be great if that happened. First that Joshua faces Wlad. Second that Ortiz faces Chisora Whyte winner on undercard. That would position Ortiz well for a Joshua matchup eventually.
