They better bring in a very attentive ref for this one, this has brain injury written all over it. Allen will need to be saved from himself.

Looks like Ortiz is trying to resurrect the myth of his murderous power and ability by fighting some Britbum novice nobody knows.

From professional sprinter Scott Malik to professional punching bag David Allen.

    All right.

Just to give an insight into the UK casual market: I've this morning seen FB posts/tweets along the lines of "Allen can take shots all night and can bang/Ortiz is all hype and will struggle here/Allen shouldn't be underestimated, good fight"

to be fair, the fight isn't that bad based on the time scale they made the fight in.
of course hearn has to put ortiz in with a few easier scalps to promote ortiz to the british public,
its on the biggest selling heavyweight at the moment joshua's PPV card, its great publicity for ortiz as joshua always sells. if ortiz destorys allen and whyte couldnt it puts him in the running for a massive fight for hearn again. think about it dummies

Yes. Ortiz is 1/100, Allen 16/1.

No easy money from the bookies, who are going to cash in on all the Allen bets.
