Floyd has the timing to conquer speed.

Ortiz is not as fast as Floyd, he's pretty fast for a banger though. Floyd has the timing to negate it anyway, even if he was, but trust me yo, he's not.

I don't think Floyd will ever face anyone that is quicker and faster than the Zab he fought.

Duran was already possibly the greatest lightweight of all time and beat the 2nd or 3rd greatest welter when he pulled his quit job

Ortiz wasn't even a potential HOFer when he quit

I don't dispute Durans accomplishments, Duran is an ATG no doubt, but he literally threw up his hands mid round and quit. Tszyu quit on his stool vs Hatton, JCC quit against Randell when he got cut, the ref said he would have allowed the fight to continue but JCC shook his head no, and it went to the cards (similar to Alexander via Bradley), Arguello sat and allowed himself to be counted out once, did he not? My point is that it happens and to permanently criticize the dude for one fight is unfair. He isn't the first, and won't be the last, the guys listed above seemed to fair OK. Matter of fact ODLH quit vs PAC, who cares what was said, if not an injury, they quit.

The speed is one thing against Floyd, prob is that it isn't jus his speed that makes Mayweather dangerous...Its his tyming and his ring IQ sumthing Victor cannot compare to...
