just reading that post and although it seems ******ed,( well it is a bit) but there is a angle of thruth. ortiz was dominating the first few rounds with out running. he over powered maidana and fought fire with fire and came out on top. BUT............. ortiz showed when he cant take fighters out with his power and pressure he has no plan b. he cant box from distance or out think oppponants. thats where he falls short in my eyes. i will say he has more power than amir( maybe even maidana) but he would get exposed by a fleet footed and far more intelligent khan if they ever fought. if peterson can give him trouble im sure khan can!
Khan had a tough win, ortiz quit. There is no way in my eyes that you can turn this so that ortiz did better, He might have started better but ended in disgracefull style, while khan showed his heart and proved the china chin hating people wrong. Its clearly khan to me.

yeah cheers..... i should of done that in the first place to avopid confusion. my point is if you put ortiz in with khan tommorow it wouldnt be one way traffic. styles make fights and i think ortiz would cause amir problems early on. just like he did peterson. but amirs boxing ability with shine through and i think he would take a close ud.
Ortiz did better against Maidana than Khan? This will be the Ortiz that was knocked on his arse twice and then quit, whilst the supposed crystal jaw hype job that is Amir Khan was hammered with bombs and stayed on his feet and kept on fighting!! ffs!!
almost similar fashion than the Maidana fight, in fact if Ortiz fought Khan the same way he did Peterson i.e. take his foot of the pedal then Khan would coast to a wide points victory.
Ortiz did better early than Maidana but he seemingly quits after round 5 from what I've seen of him. Overall you would have to say Khan did a lot better though.
Some posters are really starting to annoy me. Ortiz lost and Khan won, some people are so thick its unreal. 'Ortiz was dominating the first few rounds with out running' Why a couple of rounds? Why not say 30secs, 1round, 3rounds eh?? Damn you stupid, thats like saying, if i fought Maidana and in the first 10seconds i landed a punch does that make me better than Khan for those 10seconds. Also Maidana simple got up after each of Ortiz's knockout, while from Khans body shot he stuggled far more. So did Ortiz overpower Maidana....really...cause the way i saw it Ortiz got on his bike fairly quickly when Maidana got back up. Damn why am i even spending the time to rationalise with idiots like you. I'm out!
