Speaking of Pulev, I think it'd be a pretty good fight Ortiz vs Pulev.

 

That would make a lot more sense than Ortiz vs. Dimitrenko, yeah.

 

Ortiz should win this pretty easily. Only way Dimitrenko can win is if Ortiz fails the post fight drug test.

 

None of the champions want to fight Kong! And the challengers in line want no part of him either.

Dimitrenko has skills and size, he just lacks the toughness needed for top 20 opponents.

 

Either him or Godzilla and since there is no Godzilla my money of on father time.

he needs to fight as often as he can to keep his name in the headlines and in the public awareness.

i have said before if i was a promoter i would not let my fighter fight ortiz unless he was a mandatory/ little reward high risk.

Ortiz is getting target practice. All the top guys are 6'6 or more, he needs to prepare.

 

But a talentless, chinny 6'7" fighter who has been bullied by the likes of Eddie Chambers? What possible practice can he get?

 

aiming really high and getting steady connects. Being able to close the distance against someone with much longer reach. I agree that Dmitrienko is terrible but there is a shortage of quality tall guys out there.

 

As you like. It is going to be 90 seconds of practice against a guy who has a **** jab and consequently doesn't even fight tall, but your reasoning has sense in theory.
