Now, now mayweather should be looking at his opponent not looking and talking to commentators.

When you're down you shouldn't expect to get hit, ever. When you're up and it's "time in" you should expect 100% to get hit. Don't look at the ref thinking "he just hooked me while I was hugging him, so now my head just turned in your direction. What now ref?".

Keep your hands up and be prepared to punch and to get punched considering your opponent already had his hands up (and didn't want to hug).

Just answer the question......in terms of the health risks involved, are the two not similar? That’s all I’m asking here. Not whether they’re right or wrong. I’m talking purely in terms of endangering one’s health (which is kinda’ what this topic is on).

Just to clarify, Cortez never actually called 'time in' properly. :good

So (without trying to make excuses for Ortiz) when you're in 'time out', you shouldn't expect to be hit, either.

He told the fighters to resume fighting is what I meant. Anyhow the difference in the two cases are when your down you expect no on to punch for 8-10 seconds. When you're up and it's time to fight you should expect to be punched. So if you don't. You shouldn't be in boxing.

But your right he was about to call time in. Wasn't it?

What you're asking is pointless. Fighters have died in the ring before from legal blows that no one considered a cheap shot. So yeah, what Mayweather did poses similar health risks as what Abraham did. However, I could say the same thing about what Pacquiao did to Hatton when he KO'd him with a perfectly acceptable shot. This is why what you're asking is pointless.

Now you're going to tell me you don't even know the rules? He told the fighters "let's go", touched their gloves, and stepped back. He does not need to say time in. Him touching their gloves and stepping away is enough to signal the round has restarted.

Floyd already endangered his life for having two lovers at the same time ( Ellerbe & 50 cent ).

Strangely enough none of these clowns have any problem with the ILLEGAL sucker punch Ortiz threw after the butt.

I have yet to see 1 person address the illegal sucker punch Ortiz threw after the butt, he fought dirty and tried to take it to the streets because he was getting schooled, in the end he got outsmarted and KTFO.

Thank you. That’s all I was asking for. Because of the extra dangers involved, Abraham was called a classless fighter when he accidently hit a defenceless person who wasn’t in fight mode. With that in consideration, it is reasonable to also call Mayweather a classless fighter for purposefully hitting a defenceless person who wasn’t in fight mode, either. That's all I'm saying here. Mayweather was classless for doing what he did.

Your examples of Pac-Hatton and May talking to commentators are not relevant, because in none of those instances were fights brought to halt and unclearly resumed into action. I say unclearly, because Cortez made a massive **** up.
