You obviously haven't seen many of Flatlander's posts. He was at the gym where both trained in Kansas before they moved on. Rios would always beat up Ortiz because Rios had the style that Ortiz can't handle. Someone that hits him. I started laughing my axe off when Victor quit because FL has always said he does that when things get tough.
Rios is not slow and he is very accurate with his punches. I did not think Lopez was all that fast either. He just knew what punches work against Ortiz.
Rios would have knocked him out or made him quit, and that's even assuming the worst, flattest, and most weight-drained version of Rios.
They laughed back two years ago when I told them Rios was the one to watch too. We have yet to see the best of Brandon.
Im a Rios fan but Ortiz would murder him, Rios has size advantages over these small guys but if he ever goes to welter hes gonna get koed bad, they tryna keep him undefeated to fight Pac in the future, they will choose his opponents carefully
You do know that the guy Ortiz fought tonight was a 140 pounder don't you. This one is about the size of the fight in the dog.
Lopez actually throws decent combos and has good accuracy, Rios likes to bully people with strength and power, i realised how limited Rios was when he fought Abril and Murray hes so overrated, theres a reason he squeezin until them low weights
no Rios would get his ass kicked. Its going to be hilarious when Rios starts fighting at 147 and gets damn near killed in the ring the guy sucks. For a guy that watches a ton of boxing YDKS
The thread is about Rios/Ortiz. Started by a guy that used to be in the Kansas gym they trained at. He says Rios kicked Ortiz axe then and he sees nothing that would change his mind. That's called 'inside information'. Could he be wrong? Of course, but he correctly called this fight.
Rios probably won't be very successful at WW, I agree. I wasn't necessarily bigging up Rios, though, was I? All I said was the he would take out the trash against Ortiz, which it doesn't exactly take a great fighter to do. You don't know **** about reading between the lines of what's being said. You have it in your head that Ortiz is really good, and so beating him must make someone really special. Wrong. My point was Ortiz sucks, and even the Rios of the Abril fight (who also sucked) would spank the willpower out of him.
