    4 seconds left in the fight. Emanuel Clottey loses his balance but is fully conscious, and the ref stops the fight. :patsch

    That's disrespectful.

    That has to suck for Emanuel Clottey - 4 seconds away from finishing the fight and then the ref calling it off.

    Who really cares. Ortiz was WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY ahead on the cards.

    Yes it matters. TKOs and UDs make a difference on the resumes of both involved fighters, and especially for prospects.

    Obviously Ortiz would have won by a million points, but I still think it matters.

    Whether Clottey lost by Wide UD or TKO makes no difference in the guys career. he was never that good in the first place but now he is worse than ever. His effort in that fight wasn't to inspiring.

    I feel you Stayman. Most people would shrug and say that a win is a win. Warriors know it's not just a MATTER of winning. It's the MANNER.

    It does matter to a veteran fighter, whether or not he gets tko'd or survives and loses a decision. It's a matter of pride.
