I reckon Wilder has the power to stop Ortiz. Ortiz certainly has the power to flatten Wilder. Wilder's technical deficiencies in defence, the fact that he doesn't really use his physical gifts other than power, as well as his far less accurate punching, all mean he is considerably less likely to land that power on Ortiz as the other way round, making an Ortiz knockout more likely than a Wilder knockout. Wilder did box well against Stiverne but he appears to have gone backwards since. Even then, Ortiz is the better boxer imo (even though he is overrated as a whole and seems to be pretty old, perhaps on the slide). Ortiz is a very good counter puncher and therefore he can take advantage of Wilder's poor technique and stop him mid-rounds.
if ortiz can catch jennings i'm sure he can catch wilder. that uppercut will press the bambi dance button
