I was nervous also :scaredas: but when I saw the replay in slow motion and realized FLoyd wasn't as hurt as I thought and only 2 grazed punches landed

He landed 2 good punches the rest were hitting gloves and air.

You know Floyd is a little hurt when he backs straight up, squared. Usually he uses a little angle. Look how Victor had him squared up on the ropes. Sent the right hook over his guard and came with the left after.

5 punches landed. 4 to the head 1 to the chest.

A re-match would be good for 3 reasons

    1. to end the controversy
    2. money will get in more rounds and be even sharper
    3. Ortiz will hopefully fight fair and get all the jitter bugs out of his system, he will be ready for the mega event.

Since Floyd made more than enough money for his upcoming vacation, I can't see how he takes this.

No saying it was bad just saying Ortiz started getting through. None were big shots to hurt Floyd but he did land 5 nice shots right there.
Put it this way bball. If Floyd fights Ortiz again I would say Floyd wins easily, but it will be a nice fight, and a great event.

Mayweather doesn't fight on anything but PPV events, this fight will not generate enough interest. Rather see Ortiz vs. Berto II for FREE!

Why? Floyd always defends well against the ropes. Haven't you seen his fight with N'dou? I've never seen Floyd get rocked while he was on the ropes. Besides, his recovery time after getting stunned is pretty good. He shakes off the buzz in no time.

I find it hilarious that one punch landed on Floyd means Vic or Judah or Mosley had a real great shot a beating Floyd, according to certain people. Seriously, Mayweather isn't superhuman. He will get hit. The real question is...can you land more than 20% of your shots or knock him out? Sure, someone like Pac or Sergio has a chance but just because Vic landed a nice right hand on Floyd does not raise the probability of Pac or Sergio beating Floyd.
