I expect Mayweather to win, but this fight will be competitive, mark my words.

You see how much movement Amir Khan used against Maidana, and that Maidana wasn't even cutting the ring down, but was still able to catch up to him through sheer pressure? You see how Hatton was able to find his way inside against Mayweather, you see how Castillo was able to manoeuvre him into vulnerable positions in the ring where he could pressure him?

Ortiz will get picked off on the outside, as Mayweather has a greater ability to control and dictate range, he will also offset him movement, but sooner or later Floyd is gonna have to hold his feet, either to get Ortiz's respect cause he's putting him under so much pressure, or cause he's getting tired of expending energy from moving, and everyone gets tired, I dont care who it is, just that Floyd is always able to grab a rest on the ropes presenting a stationary target, but it wont be there for him in this fight imo, as Ortiz being a southpaw, will break through his defense. Ortiz is a an excellent body puncher, has an excellent right hook, is lethal with uppercuts inside, and has power, but most importantly, his power hand comes from the opposite side.

Forget whether Mayweather beat Corley, Judah, he was hit more in those fights than any other for one reason, they are both left handed.

Victor isn't left-handed. He's a southpaw who's right handed like Hagler. He's the opposite of DLH and Cotto who's left handed but fights orthodox.

True, but everytime he manages to get inside, Joe cortez will find / fabricate an excuse to break them up.

    Mark MY words.

Joe Cortez Joe Cortez stap ****ing saying his name, he wont have anything to do with Floyds win, just like against Hatton, saying something 1000 times wont make that truth, Hatton isnt on Floyd or Pacs level and he lost to them and would if they fought 100 times, same goes for Ortiz he isnt on that level!

Hatton was a better fighter in all aspects than Ortiz.

And the Floyd who fought Hatton would have put a clinic on Ortiz.

I do think this fight will be competitive but only because Floyd is getting older and wont have the speed or the legs he had against Hatton.

Thank you. We've already read 1000 comments on how Cortez will keep Ortiz from winning.

I think Floyd is gonna invest heavily with shots to Ortiz's body, which will return dividends for him, later in the fight. I don't see him pop shotting and moving on Ortiz all night, unless he gets in trouble early.

I believe having good power isn't the stand-alone factor needed to get a person's respect. A combination of speed, accuracy, timing and defence, can sometimes make up for the lack of power you may have (not that Floyd lacking any. He has good pop).

I dont believe it is either, but the only next best thing is combinations imo. You dont have to hurt someone if you can disorganize them, cause you can use the princple that whilst they are too busy playing defense, they cant hit you, but Mayweather is a singles man, he's not an active fighter.
