I personally have no problem with him quitting **** he had a broken jaw! But what I do have a problem with is how he gets frustrated so easily and becomes such a dirty fighter

Just read an article over at Da scene...
W/Danny Garcia he confirms that Ortiz was complaining of his jaw being hurt before rd 9.
(Admits they dropped the ball not stopping the fight earlier)

I noticed that too. I didn't think it had anything to do with his jaw.

And he had a broken sternum, as well. But sustaining those injuries doesn't give him a pass for clocking Josesito in the back of the head. :deal

WRONG!!!!!! Listen to the interview after the fight, Ortiz said his jaw was broken EARLY IN THE ROUND. Now perhaps he ment early in the fight but, I know what I heard. Just for the record and I've stated this before, why the **** don't trainers teach young fighters better defense. Josesito was not faster than Ortiz and he wasn't stronger than Ortiz. If Ortiz had 10% better defense he would have done 100% better. As a trainer, if you know your guy doesn't have the heart to dig deep or has doubts when the going gets tough you need to teach him defense, because in a war of atricion Ortiz will relent most of the time. Personally I thought he got his mojo back after the Berto fight but,I guess I was wrong.

Exactly, I hate how mentally weak he is, as soon as things dont go as planned he gets frustrated and turns dirty, he has the potential to be a great but he lacks the mental descipline to achieve it

Ortiz' jaw was broke in the 7th round with a left uppercut which Lopez followed up with another right uppercut. Just watch after the 7th rd ends, Ortiz and his trainer Danny start whispering. Danny says you gotta continue. Then the instant replay shows the left uppercut that broke the jaw. It wasnt till the end of the 9th where Lopez shattered it with a left hook.

Its a damn shame his trainer couldnt stop the fight for him. After knowing something was already wrong with Vic's jaw he didnt even try to stop it after the shots Vic took in the 9th. Very poor judgement on his part. Im glad Vic decided to stop the fight

Based off of Victors body language, i dont see anything that suggests it was broke in the 5th. Definitely was broke by that left uppercut in the 7th which explains why Ortiz and his trainer were whispering followed by his trainer telling him he needs to continue. Ortiz became very defensive, jabbing and moving after the 7th.

You are a real and cool dude, bronx. You try to be fair and dont let your puerto rican heritage get in the way.

Cant blame ortiz for this one. Simply bad luck

Good looking out bro, I love boxing and respect all boxers.

I dont care if they are Mexican, Black, White, Yellow or Brown.

I am huge Cotto fan, so I can be partial to him at times but I try to be objective.

My 3 favorite fighters ever are as follows:

    Tito Trinidad - PR
    Erik Morales - MEXICO
    Sugar Ray Leonard - US

I also like Victor a lot despite his short comings. I am a huge Paul Williams fan seen him live (once). I pay good money in order to see great boxers live, like Nonito Donaire (once), Gamboa (twice) he is unreal live!, Miguel Cotto(5x), Brandon Rios (once), Juanma (2X he is exiting despite getting beat up recently.
