:deal There's a huge difference with quitting to get out of a fight and stopping one fight in order to come back and fight another day. Ortiz did the latter. I've never faulted him for stopping the Lopez fight. That's not to say I haven't questioned other things in his career, but that was the right move.
They tried to 'backdate' the round afterwards to make it sound better. Then they tried to say it was broken twice. Doesn't matter, he was right to pull himself out given the severity of it.
Seems like it was slightly damaged before the fight Slowly got worse to the point he could feel it Then towards the end a killer left hook snapped that thing in half. He probaly had a slight pain in it before the fight and throughout training thinking it was just from sparring etc etc.
Ortiz twitter. And for every ****** who said "Oh it's f'in 3D made up bull****" https://twitter.com/i/#!/VICIOUSortiz/media/slideshow?url=pic.twitter.com%2FyDI6zCSV
Doctors would probaly advice him to not box again... Or atleast intill end of 2013... Depends how well the bone heals and fuses. "Once broke never the same" My arms still clicks from when I broke it lmao.
