Let us hope. If he ever does come back he should learn the craft. An edjucated jab and solid D would do wonders.
And it always bothered me that he punched with his mouth open. I wondered how Berto did not crak his jaw or knock his teeth out in the sixth round.

Well, that guys jaw was literally broken in half. He should've quit as early as the 4th round when the first crack happened. His career is without a doubt over. I know he is working with SR now, in order for him to continue he has to gain some serious defense, lol which isn't going to happen.

    Wish him the best.

Hell of a shot that Lopez landed on his jaw.

He needs Arthur Abraham's titanium jaw.

    Where does it say that?

Glad he's taking some time off. Hopefully he recovers ASAP. Margarito is gonna regret continuing to fight with a broken orbital bone.

    X 2, I agree.

Ironic, as most ESB'ers would say quitting was a monumentally stupid decision.

Listen up; the Alvarez payday is irrelevant as he would have never been cleared to fight, and would have ended up with these same surgeries. The only difference with had he continued was risking even further damage to his jaw, which as we can tell, got pretty messed up.

Well, there was plenty of healthy skepticism at first given Ortiz's history and the fact the story was changing. It got so bad someone claimed it was actually broken in the Mayweather fight. But, after the actual facts were in I doubt there are too many people with a brain that thinks he did the wrong thing.

That looks nasty. But you know somewhere Arthur Abraham is looking at that picture going, "is that it?"
