Actually any fights involving top 5 Joshua, wilder, Wlad, Parker and Ortiz is a MUST SEE. You can throw in Fury too if he is willing
Ortiz was impressive not long ago but last 2 fights were boring and also he ducked Ustinov dont even know why. Then scheduled to fight Rossy but got injured and had to cancel it.After that left Goldenboy, signed for 1-2 fights and left Matchroom, signed Al Gmon, frustrating stuff right there. So now hes mandatory and will have to wait and probably fight once in 2017 against no hoper, not going well at this stage and age of his career. I thought Ortiz has very good chance to win against anyone until his last 2 fights, not so sure anymore.
Wow. That's pretty harsh. Are you some kind of actual tough guy? Please, regale us with tales of your courage.
Ortiz causes AJ problems but ultimately I don't think he wins I would however love to see King King box Wilders head off
Ortiz usually looks good against fighters that come to him like Jennings. But he has serious flaws in regards to movement and having to lead in a fight where he has to chase. It's why he looked poor vs a Scott who for most of the fight wasn't even trying to win, just survive. He also has issues with pace, which is why he struggled with Allen. He fights at one pace, he literally has only one gear, he can't suddenly shift gear and apply more pressure when needed. So when someone durable like Allen shows up who can outwork him, he can't raise his work rate to cope with bursts of activity. Even if he hurts or drops AJ he'll struggle to finish him because of this. I think he avoided Ustinov because he knew he might be made to look bad. Such a tall fighter may cause him trouble as they won't come to him and he'd be forced to chase where he isn't comfortable or very effective as we saw when he had to chase Scott.
Ortiz is as old as Wlad I reckon and I don't see what the fuss is about with him, looked bad in his last fight albeit against an opponent who wanted to run all night. AJ beats him in round eight I reckon
I actually think Ortiz could give Joshua huge problems. AJ is probably the favourite to beat anyone right now, but there are 3 or 4 who could give him a real hard night.
Sign the contract big boyyy!!!!!!! Sign the contract! (If you read that in Tyson's voice you are a true fan)
You and me both !! I think Ortiz has the best chance of beating Joshua, over anyone Joshua would absolutely outbox and knock out fury or wilder Ortiz is another level of threat, entirely I'm not saying Ortiz would definitely beat Joshua, but he would stand the best chance of any of those
There is a large and well off Cuban ex patriot community in the U.S. south east, isn't there? Why would they not support Cuban defectors? I don't get it.
