This fight looks more like Mayweather-Mosley than it will Mayweather-Hatton.

nope. different styles. ortiz no body work goin in. doesnt cut the ring off as well as hatton. fights at more range. less heart. Hatton > Ortiz AS THINGS STAND AT THE MINUTE

they have a lot of differences but there are similarities. aggressive come forward fighters who throw lots of hooks and upper cuts and who try to impose themselves on the inside. neither really have much of a long game apart from decent jabs. the advantage i feel ortiz has over hatton though is his strength and power. hatton was never gonna ko floyd but if ortiz lands big he could well do.

ortiz will try and nick in and land big shots at close range not fight at distance in the centre of the ring, never said hatton ortiz were the same fighter but what i was getting at was the fact that where hatton was to small and not strong enough to impose himself on the inside ortiz is.

hatton would have not quit against maidana. hatton would have stopped maidana in a war.

how do you know what hatton would of done at 22? he didn't face that caliber of opponent at that age. are you telling me ortiz at welter weight wouldn't beat maidana? you must be joking!

I think it'll look more like Mayweather-Mosley than Mayweather-Hatton because of what Floyd does, not Ortiz.

    Ortiz doesn't have Hatton's footspeed.
