    +1... the Ortiz-love strikes me as people desperately trying to show how hardcore they are. Ortiz is the heavy-weight shibboleth of those who normally stick to parading their knowledge of Thai mimimum-weights.

    Ortiz undoubtedly has skills but his best (only?) win against non-shot/**** opposition was against Bryant Jennings. Was Jennings so great that beating him elevates a boxer to legendary status? Perhaps Ortiz would give Joshua a very hard fight, but the case is hardly incontravertible so a little less dogmatism seems appropriate.

    A large part of my belief in Ortiz against Joshua is the fact that he is a southpaw and we've seen how badly Joshua struggled with southpaw in the Ams.

    Pathetic to say it's just fanboyism. I've seen a lot of Ortiz and think he can take out any HW in the world, especially one who went life and death with a 40-year old Wlad.

    Ortiz won't be on Hearn's cherry pick list for Femi's next fight. Tbh I don't rate him as high as the WK that Joshua beat but he would be box office compared to some knock over job. Just don't see Hearn taking any risks he doesn't have to.
