Ortiz is a southpaw and it makes perfect sense for Floyd to fight him

As I truely believe this will be Floyd's final interim bout before the Pacquaio clash. :deal

It's a good test for Floyd, as Ortiz is very strong and like to move forward. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying Ortiz is as good as Pacquaio, merely, he is a strong southpaw who likes to exchange. And it will help Floyd guage what to expect even better before stepping in with Pac, which dusting off any rust.

What do you guys think? Pacquaio vs Mayweather might happen after all?

Before you decide to troll, I never once mentioned anything about who I like more.

Not so sure. Could be a way to one up Pacquiao again (fighting a younger, prime, world champion in his natural weight class). It sounds petty but to me thats the kind of thing Floyd wants to do. Mayweather's allure to the American average Joe is his undefeated record. He can beat Ortiz on the big stage, keep is undefeated record and keep his name in the paper.

Just my two cents, could well be a tuneup. I personally don't see it, especially with how risky this fight is.

Of course no one else has Pac's style but Ortiz is the closest you can get at the elite level in the WW division
