Ortiz needs to be put on cbs, he produces nothing but great fights with controversy, think if the maidana, berto, mayweather n lopez fight were on regular tv? Stack the card with Arreola and give him a lenthy post fight interview, and have Mayorga to open up the and ppl will be coming back for more, guaranteed, then you add decent fighters along with the colorful characters and n pp lwill follow:deal

Casual fans already think Boxing is full of cheating, payoffs, and a myriad of other negative ****, why in the hell would you also want to con them into thinking a Glass Jawed Fraud with no Heart whatsoever is a marquee fighter? If Ortiz got a fight on a CBS people would think he is one of the best that Boxing has to offer and then he would pull another disgraceful Quitjob or he would get his Glass Jaw violently Shattered into a million pieces and they would be left thinking that the sport is a joke. I don't ever want to see this Quitting Joke get a fight on a major network again.

Victor is cool! I have no problems with him I think to call him a quitter his really way too harsh and unjust. He gives great efforts the only way he knows how. But than again, the know how in the ring seems to be an issue that brings varied results and circumstances.

We all have high expectations of Victor based on his experience and skill sets and he tends to deliver a result that's questionable. The bottomline is win or lose this cat is entertaining and not boring.

You don't have to like or respect Victor but he's definitely a point of interest anytime he fights. Because nobody knows what the hell is going to happen!

I have never said that so stop putting words into my mouth, moron. Ortiz is a Glass Jawed Fraud and a three time Quitter. That is a Fact and the proof can be found on YouTube. He is a complete and utter joke and anybody who would actually care to keep watching this guy get chance after chance while better fighters with less promotion are sitting by the wayside is a fool. Boxing needs real Iron Chinned Warriors who are able and willing to slug it out on national TV, not pussies like Ortiz who fold like a lawn chair after the first punch or hint of adversity.

I always defend boxing but I am really starting to get discouraged when guys that have funny interviews or a certain look & can't even box all that well are getting more push from the promoters then guys that really have skills. Mayweather is an exception because the guy can actually box.

ortiz heart is questionable. but he was fighting his ass off going to war but he didnt like it at all and wasnt having no fun in there.

if the fight kept going who knows wut would have happened . there were so many possible outcomes. it even looked lopez eye was gonna close that wouldnt been good 4 him . either one of them coulda knocked eachother out and the scorecards had 2 of been close.
