I know boxing is unfortunately seemingly more promoter led than fighter led bit I just can't understand how you can with a straight face not acknowledge his privilege.

He turned over, with barely any amateur fights, to the biggest promoter in UK, no requirements to sell tickets to pay for his opponents, on televised section of cards.

If he was Connor Walker you think he gets those opportunities to be matched so carefully and do his improvement in the gym with some of the best trainers in the UK. Like seriously? Yes Connor has taken the baton and ran with it but he picked it up from the last leg.
