I made a bet with a friend after seeing the weigh in that Ortiz would win, his body just looked made for 147, he was all muscle and the extra facial hair just made him look rugged. I can Khan's first real fight @ 147 being against ortiz and I favor Ortiz to win, and stop him. I also think Ortiz will mop the flow with Maidana @ 147

I'm not on the hype train I always thought he was a better boxer than them, but now he seems to be at a comfortable weight

Ortiz beats both at 147. Convincingly.

good point, I still thin he's a better boxer though, and I'm not sure if he will bring any power up there cause he has a tiny swimmer like frame.

Ortiz really lived up to his ring-name last night, answered a lot of questions about his heart and mentality.

Not sure about Maidana (he seems fine at 140) but I can see him being a real bad night for Khan; southpaw, power, speed, aggressive etc. Would be a great fight.

Ortiz really needs to tighten his defence and use his jab more though. He has a good jab when he uses it, he just seems to get sucked into brawls really easily!

Maidana and Khan. I like Khan, but he doesn't have the skills or the defence to compete with Ortiz's power combos. Ortiz by mid-rounds TKO/KO.

I picked Ortiz against Berto. I think Ortiz would demolish Maidana and have a very good chance of stopping Khan.

Typical immediate ESB reaction after a weekend of fights.

Ortiz kills Maidana at 140 if he was mentally tough.
Ortiz kills Khan at 140 and 147, because he can actually in fight and because like Berto Khan has a weak chin and poor defense up close.

How many fights has Khan had at Welterweight, to my Knowledge he had had none, which makes any prediction hang on alot of "ifs" and "buts" about both fighters.:smoke

I haven't had a chance to watch any of the fights this w-e due to it not being shown here :angry but I do also believe Victor beats up Khan I don't knw about Maidana though...Marcos although not as polished is relentless and has the style to upset Victor again imo
