ortiz imo is the hardest hitting welter weight in boxing, and with his ability to string punches together and finish opponents off he could easily catch floyd just like mosley did in the early rounds but instead he could pounce on him and take him out.

ortiz is the youngest, freshest and most hungry fighter floyd has faced in a long time and i realy respect him for taking this fight but i believe ortiz has the speed and power to do the job. people say the only way to beat floyd is with the jab but now he's lost a bit of speed and possibly punch resistance a bulldozer like ortiz could do the job.

is the idea of floyd being ko'd that ludicrous? even though mosley staggered him twice in the first two rounds. thats an old mosley who drew his next fight with mora. ortiz has more speed and power than the old version of mosley floyd faced. plus you can see how hungry he is for this fight. he's pumping himself up big time for this. he's gonna be super fit and when he's let loose in the ring he'll swarm mayweather with heavey shots.

    im honestly predicting an upset!

Early KO is his chance. Floyd is not a particularly fast starter especially not lately with these long breaks and Ortiz is just about the most explosive starter around, EVERYBODY goes down or gets hurt against him early.

Ortiz's glass heart will be shattered in the first three when Floyd shows the angry bull how to box and then his glass jaw shatters after a few more rounds of being potshotted. Check left ends him Hatton-style.

Wait, what? I'm not saying Ortiz has no chance of beating Floyd. But you should probably study more of Floyd's fights before you make a bold prediction.

i know this is boxing and anything could and might happen but just think of this. berto was knock downed twice by ortiz and berto has shown in his previous fights that he has somewaht a shaky chin. if ortiz could not stop someone like berto, then chance are, ortiz would not stop someone like floyd who took a couple of mosley bomb and survived. floyd took this fight and know that ortiz is a tune-up material.

i think floyd is making a mistake. ortiz is a great finisher because he stuns you then pounces and throws numerous power shots. not like a khan with his flurries ortiz has big power along with his speed.

unless mayweather runs from the start and boxes very cautiously ortiz will catch him.

Mayweather has been in the gym everyday during his layoff regardless of what you heard, Mayweather will make Ortiz look like Marquez when they fought.

and floyd would just buy some time, hold ortiz up or move away until he recovers. ortiz has good power but i don't think it is on the level that mosley at the weight.

ortiz watching his last fight, i don't even know his chances of landing them on floyd. he was recklessly aggressive coming in directly forward and punches a little wide.
